PARTICIPANTS:  40 students

The Vivacity Club of METAS Adventist College organized a “Social Awareness Programme” to spread awareness in today’s youth. The volunteers of the club and faculty in-charges planned and organized this event. The, HODs of Commerce and Management Department, staff and faculty members, students made their gracious presence in the event.

The event was organized as a team event. There were 1-5 members in each team. Topics related to social awareness like Women safety, Road safety, Child labour, AIDS awareness, Environment awareness, Organ donation, Cancer Awareness, Say no to drugs etc. have been given to different teams by chit system in advance. Team members have given liberty to present their view on given topic by acting/ singing / role play etc. The event has been judged by two esteem judges Dr. Rakhi and Mr. Pierson based on criteria like creativity, moral values, acting, overall presentation etc. Devanshi Patel, SYBCom and her team won the first prize and the Mihir Ghael, FYBBA and his team won the Runners up prize. All the participants and winners of the event received certificates and winners also received the trophy.

Students, faculty members, HOD of the department and all others have appreciated this activity. Students feel proud and happy of being involved and participated in this social activity. Students have learnt importance of moral, ethical, social values in their life from this activity. METAS Adventist College always believes in educational, technical, social and holistic development of students.

Any event is impossible without volunteers, who work at the backstage tirelessly for the event's success.  Include all their names and their priceless contributions and activities for the accomplishment of the event.
