The Corporate Innovators Challenge was an exciting competition aimed at recognizing and rewarding breakthrough ideas and innovative solutions within corporate settings. It encouraged students to think outside the box, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Participants had the chance to showcase their skills, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial spirit to create solutions that improve business processes, enhance customer experiences, or address social challenges.It unleashed creativity and strategic thinking by simulating a corporate environment where participants, divided into teams of 4 and 5, take on roles as CEO, COO, CTO, CMO and CFO to collaboratively develop an ideal investment pitch for a given product. Participants were randomly assigned to teams ensuring a mix of skills and expertise. Each team was presented with a fictional cutting-edge product or service. Teams members were then assigned for the roles of CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, and CMO discussed within their group. Teams were given one hour to work together to craft a compelling presentation, considering financial projections, marketing strategies, and technological aspects. Team members were allowed to go outside the college campus if they wished to but return with in the time frame. Each team had 5 minutes to present their investment pitch, followed by a 5-minute Q&A from judges. Best performing teams were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
