The Vivacity Club of METAS Adventist College organized a session on “Ragging, Cyber Crime, and Drug Abuse in Today’s world ” in collaboration with the “Legal Aid Defence Counsel”. The session was in conference hall with participation of 105 students in total. The speaker for the session were Ms. Heta .J. Desai and Mr. Tapan .Y. Modi (working as full time Defense counsel at LADC – District Legal Service Authority, Surat)
MBA and BBA sudents participated in this session, which provided valuable insights into real-life cybercrime incidents. The session raised awareness about the importance of students being vigilant regarding these issues. Several real-life examples were shared to deepen the students' understanding of cybercrime and anti-ragging efforts.
Vivacity Club is extremely grateful to our President and CEO Dr. Eliah Srikakolli and Executive Vice President Dr. Mohan Rao, Vice President Academic Affairs Dr. Simon Yesu, Vice President Student Affairs Mr. Syam Prasad and head of Placement Cell Mr. Khirod Dalapati for his moral support and guidance to conduct this session successful.
