TIME: 10.00 am to 12.00 noon

PARTICIPANTS: 30 students

Venue: Metas Adventist Hospital (Training Room)

The Vivacity Club of METAS Adventist College organized a "BLOOD DONATION CAMP" in collaboration with the “Saviour Voluntary Blood Bank”. The club's volunteers and faculty coordinators planned and executed the event. The camp was well-attended by heads of the Commerce and Management Departments, staff and faculty members, as well as students, all of whom showed their support for the initiative.

The camp was organized in a systematic manner, featuring thorough check-ups for potential donors, which included assessments of their weight, blood pressure, and haemoglobin levels. The hospital Training Centre hall served as the venue for both the check-ups and the donation process. Donors had the option to lie down and rest for a while before leaving the venue. Refreshments were provided to the students participating in the camp.

Students from BBA and MBA department of the college participated with great enthusiasm, with over 30 students attending the camp. Out of these, 23 students were eligible to donate blood. Each donor received a certificate from Saviour Voluntary Blood Bank along with a donor card that provides access to a unit of blood at a discounted rate from the blood bank for the next year.

Any event is impossible without volunteers, who work at the backstage tirelessly for the event's success.  

The team is extremely grateful to our President and CEO Dr. Eliah Srikakolli, Vice President Mr. Mohan Rao, for their support and guidance Vivacity Club would like to give special thanks to placement cell Mr. Khirod for his support in organizing this events successfully. The club also likes to give thanks to all teaching and non-teaching staff of Metas Adventist College Surat for their precious presence to this event.
