    Report on Annual sports day 2024-25

    Sports are essential for maintaining our health, fitness, and energy levels. A healthy body fosters a healthy mind, and achieving great accomplishments becomes possible when we prioritize both physical and mental well-being. Sports can be described as a range of competitive physical activities, whether pursued casually or in an organized setting. Taking part in sports helps improve and maintain physical abilities and skills, providing participants with enjoyment and entertainment.

    Keeping the objectives in mind METAS ADVENTIST COLLEGE, SURAT organised annual sports day on 27th January 2025. The event was organised at the school sports ground. The activities under the sports day was divided into two categories

    1 Field Events

    2 Track Events.

    The warriors’ club invited entries for both boys and girls in different categories.

    Total 120 students enrolled themselves for the different events.

    The Track events were:

    1)  100m race

    2)  200 m race

    3)  400 m race

    4)  sack race

    5)  relay race

    6)  lemon & spoon race

    7)  Skipping race

    8)  3- Legged race

     

    The field events were: 

    1) long jump

    2) high jump

    3) shot put

    4) tug of war

     

    The Sportsman of the Year for 2024-2025 was Mr. Dhiraj Reddy (FY MBA), and the Sportswoman of the Year was Ms. Khushi Patel (TY BBA B).

    The College Sports Day was a great success, thanks to the teamwork of all members of the Warriors Club—volunteers, teachers—and the enthusiastic support from the crowd. Our students fully embraced the spirit of sportsmanship and had a fantastic time at the event.

    We are profoundly grateful to our President and CEO Dr Eliah Srikakolii for giving us this opportunity to conduct this event and Dr. Mohan Rao, Mr. Syam Prasad Gaddam, Mr Simon Yesu, Mr. Khirod Dalpati for their unwavering support.

    Additionally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the faculties, communication department, PT teachers of school and the Warrior Club volunteers for their valuable time and support

    The success of this event, especially in terms of performance, can be attributed to the hard work of the volunteers and the capable leadership, guidance, and motivation provided by the Warriors Club faculties.
